Students sing for voice school

+ Students sing for voice school
The Sarasota Voice Academy held its first spring performance, themed “Divas, Divos and Desserts,” April 27, at the Palm-Aire Country Club.

Seventeen singers, ranging in age from 11 to 68, performed favorites from Broadway, opera and other genres.

East County residents and opera singers Carol Sparrow and Randolph Locke founded the academy last year.
