Foundation opens new playground

Officials of Foundation for Dreams and campers at its Dream Oaks Camp celebrated the opening of a new $160,000 playground with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today.

"It's so fun," foundation Executive Director Susannah Cripe said. "At night, we've been coming out here, and the kids love it."

Foundation for Dreams started the first of seven weeklong summer camps Monday. The new playground is specially designed to accomodate children of all needs.
