The veterans committee of the Lakewood Ranch-Sarasota Elks Lodge 2855 donated $1,500 March 20 to Manatee Operation Troop Support, an organization that supports local troops that have been deployed.
The lodge raised the money during an Elvis impersonator show Feb. 9.

Linda Craig, director of MOTS accepted the check from Elks members Kay Ogren, Pat Marroco, Kay and Rick Thorson and Reselie and Clay Wakefield late last month.
