Fall is upon us, and even though we won't be graced with color-changing leaves or chilly weather, there are still plenty of ways to get festive. Throw on a pair of boots or a sweater, eat pumpkin anything and greet the fall season in style.

This Saturday, Sam Snead's American Grill will host its annual Oktoberfest celebration, beginning at 1 p.m. with family-friendly activities. Live music begins at 5 p.m. Enjoy traditional German music while drinking and eating.

Saturday also marks the start of the 25^th Annual Fruitville Grove Pumpkin Festival at 7410 Fruitville Road. The event kicks off this weekend with plenty of family activities and continues each weekend in October.
