Mustangs to hold golf scramble

The Lakewood Ranch High boys golf team will host its Second Annual State Champions Scramble May 19, at the Royal Lakes Course of the Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.

The tournament, which will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m., is designed to honor the Mustangs 2012 state championship team.

The cost of the event is $400 and includes green fees and cart fees, a buffet dinner, participation in several contests and tee gifts.

Several current and former Lakewood boys and girls players will be available for purchase as part of the 5th Man Auction. Bidding begins at $50.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the boys golf team.
