Greenbrook to host safety meeting

The Greenbrook Safety Committee will host its quarterly meeting at 7 p.m. tonight, at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., to discuss concerns residents may have.

Topics to be discussed at the meeting, which is for residents of Lakewood Ranch Community Development District 4, include: Greenbrook security patrols provided by U.S. Security Associates, a crime mapping website, speeding on neighborhood streets, street parking across from Nolan Middle School, solicitation within neighborhoods, neighborhood drug use, pedestrian crossing signal a the corner of Loraine Road and State Road 70, non-working lamp post lights, landscape maintenance hazards and other topics.

Representatives from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Security Associates will be attending.
