County seeking member for Animal Services Advisory Board

Manatee County is seeking to fill one vacancy for a citizens advisory committee that makes recommendations on animal issues to county officials.

The Animals Services Advisory Board considers reports and presentations to advise the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners in matters involving Animals Services and related issues.

The vacancy is for an at-large position, so any Manatee County resident may apply. The board meets at 5:45 p.m., the second Wednesday of every other months, at Manatee County Animal Services, 305 25th Street W., Palmetto.

The term for this appointment will expire July 31, 2014.
