The Sarasota Ballet will be performing three numbers in its upcoming show, “My Way,” April 13 and April 14, at the Sarasota Opera House. The dancers will be performing George Balanchine’s “Serenade,” Dominic Walsh’s “Bello” and Twyla Tharp’s “Nine Sinatra Songs.”

The cast of “Serenade” originally learned the piece in December, during a visit from Sandra Jennings.
During a rehearsal Monday, April 9, Margaret Barbieri, the rehearsal director for the piece, noted that although the company has learned new dances since December, the dancers had no problem falling back into step to dance this piece.

Performances will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, April 13, and 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, April 14. For more information, visit http://www.sarasotaballet.org.
