P&Z Board to review Comp Plan amendments

The town will hold a public hearing on a resolution to transmit proposed amendments to the Longboat Key Comprehensive Plan to various state and county agencies for review.

The hearing will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, before the Longboat Key Planning & Zoning Board at Town Hall Chambers, 501 Bay Isles Road.

The resolution relates to objectives, policies and related data and analysis of the capital-improvements element of the town’s Comprehensive Plan regarding the future management of land development, providing for severability and providing for an effective date.
