Neal home sales outpace 2010

Local developer Neal Communities is leading the way in home construction in the East County, with 290 contracts written for 2011 to date.

“The local real estate market is clearly on the rebound, and Neal is leading the way,” Neal Communities President Pat Neal said. “I know we’ve said it before, but I feel it’s OK to be a broken record when you really are breaking records. We’ve already sold more homes year-to-date in 2011 than all of 2010. We’re ranked No. 1 locally in terms of permits and sales.”

Neal wrote 39 contracts in September —  a 111% increase over September of 2010.

During the third quarter of this year, Neal Communities wrote contracts on 21 homes in Central Park in Lakewood Ranch, three in Forest Creek and one each in Wisteria Park, Belleisle, Leopard Creek and Mandalay. It also has written two contracts for homes in Miramar, two in Thornhill in the Lakewood Ranch Country Club and two in Arlington Cove in Venice.
