Kramer named 'builder of the year'

John Neal Homes Custom Design Manager Mike Kramer has been named the 2011 Builder of the Year by the Home Builders Association Manatee-Sarasota.

The award recognizes a HBA member who has contributed the most to the industry and upheld the organization's mission. Kramer is the immediate past president and life director of the HBA.

Under Kramer's leadership, the HBA focused on pro-building and pro-business government.

"We kept the group unified, and together we were able to help defeat Amendment 4," Kramer said. "Governmental affairs issues were a focus of mine."
