Vehicles burglarized in Riomar

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Riomar subdivision early Wednesday morning.

A sheriff's office report state sometime between midnight and 6 a.m., Wednesday, unknown persons burglarized three vehicles in the 3600 and 3800 blocks of 67th Terrace East and the 6600 block of 38th Lane East. 

All the vehicles were locked and had  window smashed out to gain entry. Several items were taken, including an MP3 player, a laptop computer and a car stereo, the report states.
