Charity bartending to benefit 9-11 event

Former NBA referee and Lakewood Ranch resident Bob Delaney, State Rep. Greg Steube, Sen. Mike Bennett, Manatee County Commission candidate Vanessa Baugh and SMR Director of Sports Tim Mulqueen will be pouring drinks for your tips at this week's Charity Bartending Night from 6-9 p.m. tonight at The Polo Grill and Bar, 10670 Boardwalk Loop.

The event will benefit Lakewood Ranch Community Activities Corporation's LWR Remembers 9-11 Flag Dedication. The event will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks and is scheduled for Sept. 10 at Premier Sports Complex.

Goodbye Eddie will provide live music at the bartending event, and guests also can place bids for a celebrity raffle basket from Dick Vitale.
