On her 90th birthday, Edith Barr Dunn showed she still takes the cake. While en route to Arizona, she stopped in Dallas and met up with her friend, Gary Rosenthal, nephew of Stetson Hats’ Morris Rosenthal, who gave Dunn her first Stetson hat. Then, her friends surprised her with a birthday cake — but there were no candles on her cake. Her friends decided that 90 candles were too many to light.
