Disney director Aaron Blaise talks career, madeby Gallery opening

Disney director, Ringling College alumnus and Academy Award nominated director Aaron Blaise has worked a long career as an animator and director. His portfolio boasts work on big-name projects such as The Lion King, Pocahontas, Mulan and Brother Bear, among many others, but this Friday, March 7, marks his first solo gallery opening.

madeby Gallery will host the artist as he discusses his career and displays his recent work, which was inspired by his travels to Africa, Asia and throughout the United States. The reception begins at 5 p.m., and Blaise will also discuss his upcoming feature-length animated film, Art Story, which he recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund.
