The Humane Society of Southwest Florida, in collaboration with Sarasota in Defense of Animals, hosted a fundraiser Saturday. Dec. 15 at Evie's on Bee Ridge. The fundraiser, titled, 'Santa Paws Fur a Cause,' raised money for people who are experiencing financial difficulty in supporting their pets.
