Key Real Estate: Lido Key home sells for $2.25 million

In total, 13 sales were recorded at the Sarasota and Manatee county courthouses. Of those sales, 10 occurred on Longboat Key, including two on the Manatee County side of the island, and one each occurred on Lido Key, St. Armands Key and Bird Key. Four of the week's sales exceeded $1 million. Additionally, three of the week's 13 transactions were vacant-lot sales.

Nov. 25 Gator grab 9:32 a.m. -- 400 block of GMD. Vehicle Larceny. A woman reported that someone stole her crocodile purse valued at $2,000 from the passenger seat of her unlocked car while she was inside a gas station paying for her gas. The purse contained a payroll check, her Social Security card, credit cards, a checkbook and $10 in cash.
