The League of Women Voters of Sarasota County held its second "Meet Your Candidates" Thursday, Aug. 14, at Selby Library. Attendees met with County Commission, School Board and Hospital Board candidates. The organization hosted a meet and greet in North Port last week for residents.
"It puts a face on candidates," says attendee Gerry Swormstedt.
