Dec. 6 Construction question 3:26 p.m. -- 6400 block of GMD. Suspicious Circumstance. A Christ Church member reported to police that someone placed a sign on the church's construction site that read: 'WHY?' The church member told police members of the nearby homeowners association were disputing the church's construction.

Unknown person(s) entered the victim's vehicle through the unlocked passenger side door. Once inside, the person(s) took a TomTom GPS unit valued at $150. The person(s) then fled in an unknown direction.

Latest HOA fine sparks Jensen remarks

When MacAllisters Grill & Tavern owners Malcolm and Karen Ronney moved to Lakewood Ranch from Scotland, they placed a small plaque on the front of their Greenbrook home. Last week, they paid more than $2,200 in HOA fines because the sign violated regulations.
