There was a tee time, prizes and most other aspects of a golf tournament with the minor exception—it was miniature golf. The second Tee Up for Sea Turtles Turtle Inc. Mini-Golf Tournament Saturday at Evie’s Family Golf Center helped collect more than $17,000 to be divided between two organizations.

The event was the brain child of 13-year-old Turtle Inc. founder Lexi Mariash. This year Turtle Inc. teamed up with both Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium and Easter Seals Southwest Florida to benefit from the tournament.
