Esplanade’s Terri and Stuart Zais found a round table amidst dozens of vendors and chatted as they sipped beer, watched the crowd and heard live music by the Doug Deming & the Jewel Tones Oct. 20.

The Block Party at Lakewood Ranch Main Street proved the perfect evening out.

“We came last year and we wanted to come again,” Stuart Zais said.

They and hundreds of other Lakewood Ranch area residents flocked to Main Street for the event hosted by the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, Lakewood Ranch Community Activities Corp. and Lakewood Ranch. Guests enjoyed music, learning about local businesses and plenty of food.

The event also coincided with Community Activities Corp.’s annual Club Day, so attendees could visit booths and learn from members about their respective Lakewood Ranch clubs, as well.
