Two homes in Siesta Properties top all transactions in this week's real estate. Barbara Brunckhorst, of Sarasota, sold two homes at 7960 Sanderling Road and 8000 Sanderling Road to Frank Brunckhorst III, trustee, of Sarasota, for $4,995,000, both totaling $9.99 million.

The fundraiser, titled 'Leis for Strays,' featured a Hawaiian theme, including hula dancers and a Hawaiian drinks. Guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvers and dinner as well as a live and silent auction to benefit the organization.

Sarasota Youth Sailors Nico Schultz and Nick Hernandez won the 2012 USODA Team Race National Championship July 22 though July 24, in Sandusky, Ohio, with Team Florida Oceanic Racing, a travel squad based in Clearwater. The boys will represent Team USA in the BMW Optimist Team Race Cup Oct. 27 in Berlin.
