A condominium in Seagrove tops all transactions in this week's real estate. James and Jean Ball, of Orchard Park, N.Y., sold their Unit BH3 condominium at 1010 Seagrove Lane to Dennis and Sandra Martin, of Elma, N.Y., for $2.3 million.

The same cattle egret has been visiting a McDonald's restaurant for more than a year, because customers were regularly feeding it. Now wildlife officials are warning people that an unnatural diet could harm the bird.

Volunteers came out to learn about seagrass and how to monitor and collect data about seagrass Saturday, July 30 at the Turtle Beach Community Center. Led by environmental speicalist Amanda Dominguez, volunteers were taught about how to properly identify certain types of seagrass, as well as how much seagrass is covering the area as well as what the epiphytic algae coverage is like on the seagrass.
