On Monday, Christ Church of Longboat Key began setting up for its upcoming Sale Away, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8. At Christ Church's first sale in 2012, over $17,000 was raised and donated to local missions.

Rick Derringer, Larry Crane and many more took the stage after attendees enjoyed cocktails, appetizers and dinner. Proceeds benefitted the Scholarship Program for studies in Marine Science, Marine Engineering or Seamanship.
