A home in Country Club Shores tops all transactions in this week's real estate. Geza and Ilona Benko, of Longboat Key, sold their home at 531 Chipping Lane to Victor and Anamaria Mitchell, of Castle Rock, Colo., for $760,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,341 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $350,000 in 1995.

2013: Top 10 real estate transactions

The Longboat Observer counts down the top 10 highest real estate transactions of the year, recorded Jan. 1 through Dec. 17, on Longboat, Lido, St. Armands and Bird keys. Of this year's top sales, three were in Country Club Shores, two were in Longboat Key Gulfside and one each was on Bird Key and St. Armands.
