The Lakewood Ranch High School marching band competed at the 2010 FMBC State Championships Nov. 20 at Tropicana Field. The band earned a seventh-place finished in Class 4A with its show, "It Was a Good Year."

Pirate band competes at state championships

Braden River High School's marching band took its competition show to the 2010 FMBC State Championships Nov. 20 at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. The band competed against the best in the state and earned a ninth-place finish in Class 3A.
