The Furniture Warehouse partners with area food banks

From Friday, Jan. 20 to Monday, Jan. 23, the All Faiths Food Bank of Sarasota and Desoto Counties, along with the Manatee Food Bank and the Harry Chapin Food Bank are teaming up with The Furniture Warehouse to collect canned food.

A home in Edgewater tops all transactions in this week's real estate. Meyer Grojean, trustee, of Leawood, Kan., sold the home at 6666 Windjammer Place to Alan Lampert and Lorraine, Henry-Lampert, of Northport, N.Y., for $435,000.
