Siaana defeated Regent 9-7 to win the USPA Ringling Cup in the final polo match of the season April 7. Francisco Llosa scored six goals to lead the way for Siaana. Mark Gutierrez scored a pair of goals, and Jason Pascarella added a goal.

Lakewood Ranch's Ashley Bongart won the No. 1 singles crown and then teamed up with Lindsey Rechcigl to win the No. 1 doubles title at the Class 3A-District 12 tournament April 2-3, at Charlotte High. As a team, the Lady Mustangs finished as the district runner-up behind Venice. On the boys side, Sarasota High's Andre Johnson won the No. 1 singles title to lead the Sailors to a second-place finish in the team standings.

The Lakewood Ranch High girls track team scored 226 points, cruising to a first-place finish at the Manatee County Championships April 2, at Manatee High. Braden River finished third with 87 points. On the boys side, Lakewood Ranch was second with 133 points and Braden River was fifth (80 points).
