Eighty artists from area craft guilds gathered Thursday, Feb. 9 to display their jewelry, pottery, baskets and other crafts at the 10th annual Fabulous Arts Boutique Exhibit's opening reception at Art Center Sarasota. 'I think this might be our best year in terms of creativity,' said Kathie Hayes, chair and founding member of the event. The Manasota Weavers Guild, The Florida West Coast Bead Society, Surface Design Guild Sarasota and the Venetian Society of Basket Weavers were all represented at the reception.
