An 18-year-old Sarasota man with an online persona as a promoter of lifestyle changes to become more attractive was arrested this week by Sheriff’s Office investigators on 15 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.

Mason Hull, known to more than 300,000 digital followers as “Hullo’’ on TikTok, was ordered held without bond after his arrest on Wednesday.
According to an arrest warrant, the Sheriff’s Office received a tip on April 30 that Hull was in possession of videos depicting sexual abuse of children and communications about such materials.
In a release from the Sheriff’s Office, a spokeswoman for the department wrote “investigators determined the materials appeared to contain links to websites used to obtain CSAM (child sexual abuse material), as well as conversations discussing payment for files.’’
Hull was spotted in the parking lot of his Sarasota County apartment and taken into custody by members of the Sheriff’s Office Tactical Unit.
“Additionally, due to the suspect’s significant social media presence anyone who may have information regarding this investigation is encouraged to contact the SCSO Investigations Bureau at (941) 861-4900,’’ the spokeswoman wrote in the release.
