Endler tried a second time.
This time, the ring landed directly on the neck of the bottle, earning Endler a prize.
"Must be beginner's luck," Endler said.
Endler, a resident at Cypress Springs Gracious Retirement Living, went on to win more prizes during the retirement facility's carnival-themed health fair on Thursday.
Residents such as Nina Henderson walked away from six health vendors' stations with at least three bags full of goodies and prizes, which she said was amazing.
Vendors included HomeWell Care Services, Hedges Health Mart Pharmacy, The Center for Urgent Care, Florida Home Health, The Roots Chiropractic and Bright Star Care shared information about the services they are able to provide to Cypress Springs residents.
Residents ended the health fair with a healthy salad bar lunch.
