State College of Florida Coding Academy Summer Camps

Details: STEM camp covers a variety of topics such as robotics, engineering, computers and technology, game design, coding, manufacturing, entrepreneurship and Minecraft for junior engineers.
Camp dates: 8 a.m. to noon June 19-July 28 for grades 2-5; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 12-July 28 for middle school and high school

Discovery Point Child Development Center Twelve Oaks

Details: Mission Possible! Campers will have a summer of mystery and adventure from solving mysteries to cracking codes, learning about the spies of the American revolution, computer coding, mind games, creating their own spy kit and an escape room challenge. They will travel through time learning about the different ways throughout the years that coding and spies worked, with a different theme each week. Breakfast, lunch and snacks included.

Kiddie Academy of Lakewood Ranch Camp Adventure

Details: Camp Adventure curriculum is built upon a series of themes designed to inspire children to explore, create, interact and stay active. For younger campers, each day is spent practicing a preschool activity — from throwing and catching to scientific exploration. Older campers gain vital decision-making skills as they assist their teachers in choosing each day’s activities.

Details: The camp explores nature through hands-on games, crafts, demonstrations and other activities. Come explore behind the scenes as you learn about caring for our animals. There’s lots of animal interactions and trekking through the jungle. You’ll see first-hand what it takes to be a zookeeper.
