Manatee board recommends approval in east Bradenton

The Manatee County Planning Commission today recommended approval for development of a proposed 126-home development off Upper Manatee River Road.

M/I Homes Sarasota is proposing a 44.5-acre community of single-family homes between Upper Manatee River Road and the Manatee River, adjacent to The Enclave at Country Meadows.

According to preliminary site plans, the project will include 16.4 acres of recreational space with amenities including an amenity center, a canoe launch and a building for kayak storage.

The project will go before the Manatee County Commission next month for consideration and potential approval.
