The Out-of-Door Academy (6-1) won its first home playoff game in eight years, defeating Santa Fe Catholic 42-6 in the first round of the Sunshine State Athletic Conference playoffs.
Lakewood Ranch High (3-4) fell 34-0 to Sarasota High. Mustangs defensive back Caleb Browner picked off Sailors sophomore quarterback Vincent Parisi, a bright spot in an otherwise rough game for Lakewood Ranch.
Braden River (5-1) was off Friday after playing Oct. 26, a 52-14 win against North Port High.
