The Out-of-Door Academy's dream season came to an end after a 42-0 loss against Saint Stephen's Episcopal School in the second round of the Sunshine State Athletic Conference playoffs. Senior quarterback Gus Mahler went 11-16 for 79 yards in the loss. The Thunder finish the season 6-2. 

Braden River High (9-1) defeated Saint Petersburg High 38-14. Senior running back Deshaun Fenwick ran for 194 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries, and junior quarterback Bryan Gagg threw three touchdowns. The win all but assures the Pirates a spot in the Florida High School Athletic Association playoffs, the match-ups of which will be announced Sunday. 

Lakewood Ranch High (3-5) lost 10-9 to DeSoto County High. Senior running back Mason Fischer led the team with 141 rushing yards.
