It was hard to decide where to look at the Asolo Repertory Theatre Major Donors Party and Season Announcement on March 20. Upon arrival, guests walked through the home of Rita and Ron Greenbaum as if they were perusing a museum, gazing at every piece of artwork on the walls.
As they walked into the main event in the back of the house, it was hard not to be taken aback by the pool and private beach. A quick lap around the invite-only soiree proved especially eventful when two dolphins were spotted just 20 feet or so away from the beach.
Guests mingled and enjoyed Michael’s On East bites before Asolo’s Producing Artistic Director Michael Donald Edwards announced the 2017-2018 season, which includes everything from classics such as “Julius Caesar” to the new play “Roe,” about Roe v. Wade.
