Sports enthusiasts flocked to the “Mad for March” event on March 3 at Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota.

Guests enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres and got the chance to take a photo with Hall of Fame ESPN Broadcaster Dick Vitale and Indy 500 Champion Ryan-Hunter Reay. Several members of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Buccaneer cheerleaders and the DeSoto Conquistadors also made an appearance.

Event-goers were also entered into a drawing for several prizes such as two tickets to the 12th Annual Dick Vitale Gala, two tickets to a Rays versus Red Sox game with Dick Vitale and two club seats to a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game.

Proceeds from the event benefited pediatric cancer research through The V Foundation.
