Longboat to host next Barrier Islands Elected Officials meeting

Longboat Key will host the next Barrier Islands Elected Officials meeting. 

Topics on the meeting’s agenda include an update on the Barrier Islands Traffic Study, a $675,000 project of the Florida Department of Transportation, as well as a discussion of the possibility of Longboat Key becoming incorporated into one county.

The meeting will be held at Longboat Key Town Hall on Wednesday, July 19, at 2.p.m. The agenda can be found here.

The BIEO group includes representatives from the Key, Anna Maria, Bradenton Beach and Holmes Beach.
