It was all glitz and glam at the Temple Beth Israel Gala: TBI Salutes the Oscars on Feb. 26 at Michael’s On East.
Guests started their evening with a walk down the red carpet and a quick shot by the paparazzi before heading into the right-side ballroom for cocktail hour. Event-goers mingled and had the chance to buy raffle tickets before heading to the left-side ballroom for dinner.
There, guests were seated at tables adorned with movie-themed decor, all picked out by Regina Platano. At each table setting there was also a ballot for which event-goers could cast their votes for who would take home the big prize for each of the categories for the 89th Academy Awards. Everyone submitted their picks, and whoever had the most correct guesses will be recognized at the temple.
Lee Mirman served as emcee for the evening of cinematic fun, and Ohrenstein and Parks provided entertainment along with DJ Harry Wright.
