Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant and Pub hatched baskets of Easter fun on April 15.

The restaurant hosted its 29th annual Easter egg hunt Saturday morning to kick off the Easter holiday. Families, locals and visitors alike gathered for breakfast, adult beverages and candy. The kids participating were eager to begin the egg hunt and as soon as they were told to begin, it took them all of about five minutes to collect the 2,300 eggs scattered on Mar Vista’s back lawn.

After all the eggs were collected, and hatched so kids could eat the candy, the Easter Bunny made an appearance that garnered plenty of smiles.
