Film-lovers took over Pineapple Avenue on March 31 for a block party outside the Sarasota Opera House.
The party served as a kickoff to the Sarasota Film Festival, so guests gathered after enjoying the opening night film, Take Every Wave: the Life of Laird Hamilton — directed by Rory Kennedy — in the opera house.
Event-goers enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres while dancing to the sounds of live band Jah Movement.
