Sarasota High School brought back the roaring 1920s with a “The Great Gatsby” theme for prom Saturday night at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota.
Subtle nods to the era of glitz and glamour were noted even in the crowns for the prom king and queen.
Seniors Tyesha Brown and Luke Wright were crowned prom queen and king, respectively. After the couple took their first dance they were joined by the rest of the students initiating the dancing portion of the evening.
