Bird Key home sells for $1.5 million

The home at 212 Bird Key Drive has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,016 square feet of living area.

The following residential real estate transactions took place between April 25 and April 29.

A home on Bird Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Thomas and Suzanne Hall, of Sarasota, sold their home at 212 Bird Key Drive to Peter MacDonald, of Arden, N.C., for $1.5 million. Built in 1961, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,016 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.63 million in 2014.

Queens Harbour
Clarke Addison, of Ontario Canada, sold the home at 3521 Fair Oaks Lane to John Flaherty, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $1.26 million. Built in 1995, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 4,048 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,062,100 in 2004.

Country Club Shores
Katherine O’Connell, trustee, of Sarasota, sold the home at 550 Wedge Lane to Jon and Kelly Baldwin, of Sarasota, for $685,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,116 square feet of living area.

Silver Sands
V.J.R. Ski Corp. sold the Unit 245 condominium at 5841 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Steven and Elizabeth Bussanich, of Franklin Lakes, N.J., for $400,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 760 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $349,900 in 2014.

Beach Harbor Club
Jerry and Teresa Knab, of Longboat Key, sold their Unit F-306 condominium at 3810 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Randolph and Judith Bauer, of Hamilton, Ohio, for $300,000. Built in 1970, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,007 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $245,000 in 2004.

Spanish Main Yacht Club
Jennifer Stiles, trustee, and Margaret Sears, of Longboat Key, sold the Unit 192 condominium at 708 El Centro to Randall Clark and Ruth Cooperrider, of Urbandale, Iowa, for $290,000. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,233 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $239,000 in 2015.

Continental’s Sea Club
Kathy Peterson, trustee, of Rosemount, Minn., sold the Unit 43 condominium at 4141 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Charles and Sandra Harrison, of St. Cloud, Minn., for $205,000. Built in 1956, it has one bedroom, one bath and 366 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $190,000 in 2014.

Covert
Ronald Sharp and Susannah Keith-Sharp, trustees, of Ann Arbor, Mich., sold the Unit 204 condominium at 5230 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Jack and Kathleen Wakely, of Lakeland, for $205,000. Built in 1972, it has one bedroom, one bath and 822 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $180,000 in 2015.

Sarasota Harbour East
Thomas and Barbara Johanning, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 22 condominium at 771 John Ringling Blvd. to Theodore and Linda Kubiak, of Angola, N.Y., for $375,000. Built in 1965, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 882 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $229,000 in 2002.

Arlington House of Lido Harbour
Phillips Group LC sold the Unit 102 condominium at 1900 Benjamin Franklin Drive to Wajdi and Sylvia Bustani, of McLean, Va., for $350,000. Built in 1967, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 918 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $187,000 in 2000.
