In a galaxy far, far away—or the ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Sarasota—Riverview High School students danced beneath thousands of stars projected on the ceiling Saturday evening.

The theme for prom this year was “In A Galaxy Far Far Away.” Some students stayed true to the theme incorporating Princess Leia’s iconic side buns. While others accessorized with a Jedi’s favorite weapon, the lightsaber.
