Girl Scouts of the Gulfcoast hosted the annual Gold Luncheon and Fashion Show at the Fête Ballroom at the Polo Grill in Lakewood Ranch. Seven girls from local Girl Scout troops modeled clothing from local businesses.

“It’s about empowering the girls, teaching them life skills,” said co-chairwoman Susan Short. “It gets them out of their comfort zone and they learn about the fashion industry, business and media.”
