Thursday, Feb. 4 to Sunday, Feb. 7 
Greek Glendi Festival
Runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday to Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 7671 N. Lockwood Ridge Road. Food and festivities abound, from traditional Greek dishes and pastries to live Greek music. Admission is $4; free for children under 12. Call 355-2616. 

Friday, Feb. 5 to Sunday, Feb. 7 
Sarasota National Stamp Exhibition 
Runs from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, 801 N. Tamiami Trail. More than 80 dealers will buy and sell stamps and mail covers. The event includes free appraisals, door prizes and stamps for children. Admission and parking are free. Visit sarasotastampclub.com. 

Monday, Feb. 8 
Sarasota County Library Foundation Luncheon Featuring Cokie Roberts
Starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency, 1000 Blvd. of the Arts. The luncheon features political commentator and author Cokie Roberts, who co-anchored ABC's “This Week” and is a frequent political commentator on ABC News and NPR. AJC’s 2016 Winter Lunch & Learn
Runs from 11:30 a.m. to  1:30 p.m. at Michael’s On East, 1212 East Ave. AJC Berlin, Germany Director Deidre Berger, will discuss “Europe in Crisis: Terrorism, Populism and Immigration.” Berger will examine complex issues currently facing Europe’s Jewish communities. Brown Bag Concert Series
From noon to 1 p.m. at Phillippi Estate Park, 5500 S. Tamiami Trail. Bring your lunch and a chair or blanket and enjoy a wide variety of musical performances. The series is every Thursday through March 31. Admission and parking are free. Call 316-1309. 

Ringling Underground
Starts at 8 p.m. at the Ringling Museum of Art, 5401 Bay Shore Road. Check out local and regional live music and artists showcasing their works in the museum courtyard. Admission is $5 to $10. Free for members and college students with ID. Visit ringling.org.

Friday, Feb. 5 and Saturday, Feb. 6 
Shake, Rattle and Soul Fest
Runs from 3 to 10 p.m. at the Robarts Arena at Sarasota County Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd. The fourth annual event will feature four-time world champion Elvis impersonator Dwight Icenhower and tribute performances for other music legends, including Buddy Holly, Rod Stewart, James Brown, Roy Orbison and Little Richard. WBTT Voices: Meet the Florida Highwaymen Artists
Runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, 1646 Nate Jacobs Way. The 2016 Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe Voices program is presented in honor of Black History Month. The program will focus on the Florida Highwaymen, a group of 26 African-American artists who painted landscapes from the early 1950s through the 1980s. The evening will include a reception to meet artists and view artwork. Admission is free. Call 366-1505.

Thursday, Feb. 11
There’s No Business Like Shul Business: A Cantors Cabaret 
Starts at 7 p.m. at Temple Emanu-El, 151 McIntosh Road, Sarasota. The Bay Area Cantorial Association and the Sarasota-Manatee Rabbinical Association sponsor this event featuring 18 Bay area cantors and cantorial soloists. This year’s presentation focuses on cabaret, stage and film selections with a connection to the Jewish experience. Suggested donation is $18.
