Longboat Key's Anne Ross named Lakewood Ranch exec

The Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority has selected Longboat Key’s Anne Ross as the new executive director of Lakewood Ranch Town Hall.

“I am thoroughly honored and excited they chose me,” said Ross, who serves as Longboat’s current assistant town manager. I won’t disappoint them.”

Supervisors said Ross and fellow finalist Randy Vosburg, an assistant county administrator in Highlands County, were equally qualified and both would have been a great choice for the position. However, Ross’ connections to the area and experience edged out Vosburg.
