All week long students received visits for lunch as fathers, grandfathers and any parent that wanted to attend dined with their child for Bring Your Dad to Lunch at Phillippi Shores Elementary School.

Tables were set up in the school courtyard for parents to spend one-on-one time with their student.

One father, Zoltan Karpathy brought lunch for his son Andras so the two could enjoy some time together in the middle of the day. Andras appreciates the gesture that allowed him to spend quality time with his father.

"I get to see my dad more often and he brings me the best food," Andras Karpathy said.
