Advocates for additional Multiple Sclerosis (MS) research, funding and other steps toward a cure converged for MS Walk 2015, held March 14, on Lakewood Ranch Main Street. The one- and three-mile walks around the shopping strip and other nearby Ranch roads culminated with refreshments, photo opportunities and socializing with other advocates. At the finish line, volunteers handed each participant a medal fastened to an orange band — a symbol of what they've accomplished and for whom they participated, event participants agreed. Proceeds benefited MS research.
