Dinner, drinks, music, prizes, auctions and chatter of more than 200 attendees entertained participants of the second annual For the Love of the Game Dinner and Silent Auction, held March 13, at the Lakewood Ranch Country Club. Before dinner, those who attended the event browsed items, such as a trip to New York City to watch a New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays baseball game, available during the silent and live auctions. Pittsburgh Pirates Manager Clint Hurdle was the guest speaker of the event, which benefited Braden River High School's athletic department.
